When I was in my late teens, my mother and I went to the "Dogwood Festival" in Greenfield Hill, CT. It was a lovely day and we slowly strolled along. We came across a few tables with seemingly random items and a sign indicating the sale of these items would benefit the local church. I spotted what looked like a charming old ladies black leather handbag. I opened it and was amazed and delighted to find that the interior was not only in perfect condition, but bright red! It also came with a matching change purse and little mirror case with mirror. I was enchanted and of course bought it!
The next year we went back and I found another pretty little old purse. This time I opened it and inside was a set of rosary beads and a little black thing that looked like a doily.
