About

If my memory serves me right, the first thing I ever made creatively was a doll's dress. I was sick with chicken pox over the Christmas Holidays when I was seven years old and I asked my mother for a sewing machine. My wish was granted on Christmas day when my mother presented me with a fully functioning toy sewing machine. This trend continued all through my school and adulthood at which point I had graduated in to other aspects of creativity and crafts. So naturally my future was decided. I was going to be an artist of some kind so the natural progression was for me to go to art school. In 1978 I attended 'Edinburgh college of Art' Scotland, where I explored many different aspects of art and artists.

Although I studied furniture design, upon leaving college I got involved with producing leather accessories and apparel which lead into leather jewelry and use of different metals and since I was in one of the coldest places on earth I had to learn how to knit. I learned my basic knitting from my mother and later through perseverance and experimentation.
I have worked in the forefront and background of fashion industry which in turn has given me great insight and knowledge towards creating my designs. My interest lies in mixing different colors and mediums which brings me to the choice I made for the name of my Shop.
