The bread bags were initially designed and made when we lived in the small hamlet of Jacksonville, NY, and now made in Ithaca, about 2 doors down from J-ville! Right here, in the heart of finger lake country of New York.

My husband bakes bread every weekend, and it was always a struggle to store them appropriately. I initially designed them for our own use, then for friends, and then that just kept snowballing. These bags will allow you to keep your breads and bagels and banana bread and pita fresh, on your countertop. And it is a 'greener' way to save your bread. Don't ever use ziplock or paper bags to keep your bread fresh. And stop throwing your bagels in the freezer!
