About

I am an award winning tatter of more than two decades. I found in tatting my best artistic expression, and find great satification in both the beautiful geometry of tatted items, and the physical method of creating tatted items. My shop includes unique patterns of my own creation as well as updated designs and methods from more than a century of tatting patterns.

My inspriations come from nature and from tribal desings, Celtic, Native American, Australian and Papua New Guinea, as well as vintage designs and haute couture and geometry. All my lace is executed with the finest materials and an attention to detail. Any…

In recent years I have completed two major Celtic designs for my daughter, a bodice panel, Celtic Rose, for her formal (prom), and Eternal Love which graced her wedding dress and veil, as well as appearing on my shop banner.

All my lace is executed with the finest materials and an attention to detail. Any unusual uses for my lace that appear on the site have been road tested by friends and family, who are regularly surpised how durable and elegent tatting can be. All work is done under the direct supervision of Frankie the cat, the distraction of Molly the dog, and the necessity to feed and care for my husband of 25 years, Paul. Because of the pets, all work is washed, ironed and packaged as soon as it passes inspection to try to limit allergens.
