Ginny Perkins' Profile
Greetings from Venice, Florida. After being released from corporate America, I'm finally living my dream! I'm an avid crafter having first learned to crochet when I was eight by my left-handed grandmother. Through the smacks on the hand - "pay attention" she would say firmly - right-handed me learned to make dishclothes & afghans. I have never stopped developing my creative side and enjoy everything from jewelry making to basket weaving. My favorite thing to do is quilt and sew and the line of quilted items with a pouch (KangaKwilt) is what I work on every day. I enjoy teaching (including John C. Campbell Folk School), adult education programs at our local vocational school, and have hosted many 'girl parties' sharing my skills. I am a wife, mother, grandmother of twin girls, and an animal lover.
NEWS: I am now offering limited items in stained glass. I am keeping my prices reasonable. I hope you like them!
