I am fascinated with glass, how it is made, the different types, the chemistry involved in the making of the colors, the hot temperatures it takes to melt the glass and form it into an object. The list goes on and there is still so much to learn!

I am a self-taught glass bead artist but began working with glass many years ago while taking a stained glass class. This was followed by learning how to fuse glass which led to a desire to make glass lampwork beads. Currently I am using borosilicate glass.

I am grateful that I live in such a beautiful place, surrounded by family and friends. God continues to inspire me everyday through His beautiful creation.

The reactive metallic glass in the flame of the torch is an on going experiment and a personal light show each session. Taking the glass out of the kiln the next morning is like waking up to Christmas every morning.
