About

I USED TO be a full time mum (I AM still and FOREVER will be, of course) but my two amazing daughters have already grown up and are clever and strong enough to take care of themselves.

(BEFORE 'being a mum' I was 'a corporation woman', but this is probably not information you would be interested in).

NOW I am a MINIMALIST REBEL EMBROIDERER.
That doesn't mean that I have been embroidering my whole life.
But, what can I say about my process, is that I have always been a kind of a rebel and a true lover of minimalism.
I eventually found my calling when I started to use a dignified, handmade embroidery technique, the roots of which go back thousands of years to the ancient Egyptians, called 'NEEDLEPOINT'.

Through it I could pursue my own very MODERN, HEAD-TURNING projects that were not typical of that technique such as simple SCISSORS, SINK with PIPE, or just some BOTTLES.

IN SUMMARY, I use this old NEEDLEPOINT technique, which involves extremely laborious, patient and precise covering of canvas with stitches to indulge my MODERN, SIMPLE, FUNNY, INDULGENT and very HIPSTER fantasies.

THIS is what gets me off. WHO said needlepoint needs to be serious?!
