My art begins with 100 meters of white fabric which I dye in my backyard during hot, Idaho summers. I mix up colors to create my palette for an entire year.

Inside my upstairs studio I compose on large white design walls. Then comes the cutting and stitching on my domestic sewing machine. I work in several series at the same time.

My husband and two boys and I moved to Idaho 11 years ago so we could ski and spend summers white water rafting.
