Thank you so much for visiting Copper Spine Studio. All the jewelry you see here is designed and handcrafted by me. I begin with solid sterling and copper in the form of wire or sheet metal, and using various fabrication techniques I create unique pieces of art jewelry. I hope that you love wearing each piece as much as I love making them!

For as long as I can remember I have always loved creating. As a child I spent most days surrounded by paint, pencils and piles of paper and cardboard. To this day I still get a little giddy seeing a fresh, pristine box of Crayola crayons. I first learned the craft of jewelry making over ten years ago at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where I minored in metalsmithing. Thank you so much for visiting Copper Spine Studio. All the jewelry you see here is designed and handcrafted by me. While I have explored numerous mediums nothing has inspired me the way metal has, I truly love every aspect of the process from sketching out a design to putting the final polish on a piece.

Today I strive to create unique jewelry that is artistic in it's aesthetic yet approachable enough to be worn everyday. I am inspired by both nature and my urban surroundings, as a result many of my pieces combine sleek rigid exteriors from which free organic forms burst forth. I also love exploring new techniques such filigree and enameling.

Love Manifested Line
The Love Manifested line was created in honor of my amazing mother. In June of 2015 my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer and while I'm very optimistic about her prognosis I struggle with the knowledge that she is about to undergo the difficult journey of chemo and radiation therapy. Compounding my sadness is the fact that I that I live in Tennessee and my mom lives in Pennsylvania so I will not be able to physically be there for much of her treatment. In an effort to show my support and feel like I'm helping her through her therapy I will be designing a new piece of jewelry for her each week. My mom has always been my biggest supporter and it has been a lot of fun discussing with her each week the details of the next piece. All of the items designed will be for sale in my Etsy shop and I will be donating 20% of the profits from each piece to The Colon Cancer Alliance ( http://www.ccalliance.org ).

I hope you enjoy looking around my shop and if you have any questions regarding my pieces feel free to ask.
