Hi, I love glass. I always wanted to learn stained glass and about 5 years ago, took a class at a local community college and was hooked. A year later, took a mosaics class and found another form of glass I loved. Then about 2 1/2 years ago, took a fused glass class and found another passion. I've also started to make some jewelry with my glass. I love gardening so a lot of my items, themes have to do with gardening and the outdoors, such as birdfeeders, stepping stones, windchimes, garden stakes, etc. Also, I love all things Texas, so I do a lot of Texas things, too. My husband and I sold our business of 30 years last year, so I'm hoping I'll have more time to expand my glass. We live on 30 acres and do wildlife management, so I've put a lot of my creations in my own yard and garden. I love designing gifts for family and friends, making gifts for weddings, anniversaries, and graduations, each with it's own appeal and designed for the specific person/couple. I've also done several craft fairs, and enjoy meeting and visiting with the people and seeing how they react to my glass.
I now have a separate section for my Mom's jewelry. She loves to bead, but doesn't like trying to put anything on the computer. She is almost 74, and her and my Dad are semi-retired, so she makes jewelry for something to do and a little extra spending money. She sometimes uses some of my glass pieces in her work, also. I hope you enjoy her creations as much as I do. She's made several things for me. :)
At this time I don't offer refunds/returns for my glass. I try to give as accurate description as I can and pictures so you can see exactly what you are getting. Glass is difficult to photograph well (at least for me) so if you'd like more pictures, just ask and I'll see if I can get some better ones to you. Also, since glass can be so delicate, I recommend insurance with any purchase. Without insurance I can't offer a refund if a package arrives damaged/broke. I try to package my items well to prevent any damage/breakage, but we all know with any shipping company, anything can happen. Right now, I'm using USPS, but if you ask I can check with UPS to see if it would be comparable. Also, even with insurance I can't make a refund, until all requirements by the shipping company has been met to their satisfaction. However, I will do my best to work with you on this. Having been in business for over 30 years, I know how frustrating this process can be.
