I have always been an artist. It all started with a love of crayons, a passion for paint and clay and now an addiction to beads.:o) I am so thankful I was able to study art at the University of North Texas and also took some classes at Collin County Community College. It opened my eyes and taught me how to really see. There is inspiration everywhere.
I started making jewelry when a telephone installer left some colored wire at my house when I was about 8 years old. I made all kinds of things with that wire. I got into polymer clay and created my stress dolls at the age of twelve. While I was in college my mother gave me some of her old beads, and I could not stop making jewelry. When I attend gem & jewelry shows, my heart rate goes up, and I get so excited. I just love all the colors and textures. I am a color addict. I can't get enough of it...like air or chocolate…
