About

Hi, I'm Mack! I am an Anthropology undergrad, who designs and sews clothing, does the occassional wardrobe mistress gig, mixes natural beauty care products, folds charming origami accessories, does free lance special FX and gore make up, runs a low key supper club... And... Um... Clearly I don't do a whole lot of sleeping...

In 2008, I was hired to work as a costume designer for a community college theater, and kept that position until 2013, doing a total of 11 shows as costume designer, stitcher and make-up artist. Through that job I was offered a position as costume designer for Philadelphia's Amaryllis Theater in 2009. In 2008, I was hired to work as a costume designer for a community college theater, and kept that position until 2013, doing a total of 11 shows as costume designer, stitcher and make-up artist. Through that job I was offered a position as costume designer for Philadelphia's Amaryllis Theater in 2009. In 2010 I was priviledged to work as an assistant, in the Mandell Theater, for their production of "RENT".

My clothing designs reflect my skewed understanding of the theater- the sex and glamour, the bold and zany, the intriguing and macabre. Recently I have fallen in love with vintage fashion, and that may come across just a teeny, tiny bit in my most recent creations ! :)

Because I have a very hard time holding still, or sleeping, I began folding origami to kill time when I was unable to sew. At a friend's suggestion, I began making my arsenal of paper flowers into hair accessories, selling them at local craft fairs.

As for the lotions and potions, I have been mixing my own skin and body care products since 2009. Again at a friend's suggestion, I began mixing and jarring my products to sell locally.

My current hope is to be able too offer "full service" collections, clothing that is complete with matching accessories, ornaments, and beauty products. I'm starting it all off with Things That Go BUMP!! (2014), and can't wait to see where things go from there!

What about my FX make up and supper club? Right now those are by reference only, mostly because there are but 29 hours in the day! ;)
