I started making at my mother's knee, I grew up surrounded by creativity. I always loved drawing and painting as a child, and a chance meeting with a friend took me down a new path, china painting. I loved it. I now work as a 'kiln fired artist' and my work has progressed. I love learning new techniques, I'm always adding something new to my range.

If I tell you what inspires me you will know what to expect from my work, but even I don't always know what's coming next.
I love the countryside, wildlife, texture, colour, both bright hues and subtle tones. I like abstract design and modern architecture, as well as historical buildings. I love rocks and fossils, gardens, water, fabrics, the universe. I love pattern, and detail, but above all I love diversity.

I have a blog where I write about my journey, new work and crafty friends.

Whatever I'm working on you can be sure that each item is lovingly and skilfully hand crafted by me in my studio.
I love my job, it's who I am.
