I am a professional photographer and self-taught digital artist. I started digital designing in 2002 when my oldest was a newborn and I had some free time while on maternity leave. At that time, digital scrapbooking was not really even a thing yet. There were only a few people I can think of who were doing it when I set up my first shop in 2004.
I design products that I can use in both my photography business and also for scrapbooking our family photos. Most kits are 100% digitally created, but my more recent kits include items that I have photographed and then extracted in order to offer more "realistic" items for those who enjoy them. For ideas on how to use the products, please check out my own digiscrap layouts in the gallery at http://www.digishoptalk.com/gallery/showgallery.php?ppuser=346&username=kim2002
A typical day for me involves my two active boys, our dog Isabela, and of course my husband of 25 years who is the love of my life. We live on 4 acres in upstate New York....our little slice of heaven. :) As a mom, I'm usually on the go quite a bit as our boys are busy with their personal interests of swimming, gaming, scouting, and orchestra. This limits my ability to design on a regular basis now, but I do try to put up a handful of new items each year and I hope that you'll find several items in my shop that suit your scrapbooking needs. Please feel free to contact me if you have a request for a kit. I would be more than happy to discuss your needs and work with you to create something special that will work with your photos.
