I am the owner of Olde Tyme Bakery. I live in the sunny state of Florida.
I was taught the fine art of baking as a child by my dear mother. Growing up in my home state of Connecticut, I would enter baking contests at the North Haven Fair every year. I can proudly say I have never lost a contest and I still cherish the ribbons that I have attained.
I love the entire process of baking. From measuring the ingredients, to combining them, watching everything bake in the oven, inhaling the intoxicating aroma filling my kitchen, and seeing the beautiful cookies, pies, and cakes when the baking process has come to completion.
My happiest moment is seeing the look of joy on peoples faces and the compliments that I receive when they eat the baked goods that I make. I cherish those moments each and every day. There is no greater gift.
