Actualy in the Himalayas.
I work with the traditional Nepali fabric, symbol of the country, the socalled "hand loomed dhaka".
The looming of the colorfull threads is made by hand in a few rural familly houses.
The goal of my brand is to work directly with those famillies in a faitrade and bio frame, like Max Havelaar. Sustaining like this the continuation of this tradition actualy used essentialy for the Nepali "Dhaka Topi" hat.
In a country evolving so quickly towards the occidental model, with it's mass production low quality clothings coming from china, india and indonesia, as Nepal; this is a real cultural preservation program that I intend to start at my own level.
