It never ceases to amaze me how many different things you can paint on. For example, I first discovered foam mannequins when I was 7. My folks had gone out for the evening and my siblings weren't too keen on the idea of entertaining me so I did it myself with my mother's styrofoam wig stand. Needless to say, she wasn't thrilled to come home to find I'd used all her make-up, including her good lipstick, to create my masterpiece. Since then, I've tried painting on just about everything I can get my hands on, including rocks, bouys, metal washers, walls, the floor...there's just too much fun to be had.
Regarding my "personal philosophy..."
I'd like to think of myself as sort of an "unexpected alchemist." If you think about it, we're all alchemists when we recycle. We may not be discovering the 'elixer of life' but we are taking every day objects…
