About

{Around here it’s just good country living…}
Our farm, Lizzy Lane Farm is named after the owners of the farm before we rebuilt the homestead in 2001. But the farm itself has been around since the late 1700's and was owned by one of the first families to settle in our town, the Lane Family.

Lizzy was a remarkable woman ahead of her time she cared for her family while running the family farm and gave so much time to the community while, running a small business of her own baking and selling bread to the local shops. Being well loved for her kindness and famous pear trees, every one passing by knew if ready she would be delighted to share pears with them from her fruit trees. She is an inspiration to me, I only hope to one day accomplish as much as she did in her life.

She is an inspiration to me, I only hope to one day accomplish as much as she did in her life.

As you look around our shop you will find hints, comments and notes about every day farm life and how that transfers over into our farm made goodies, and the fun I have creating them. You will also find in some of our listing candid photos of life around the farm, from the animals, our canning, season, cooking, to the gardens, folks being country folks and I could only guess what else. Just to give you a better idea of who we are and what we are about. I can't meet you face to face, and I would love to, so this is the next best thing I can think of. I hope you enjoy the glimpse of our simple life.

{Each order is a gift from me to you…}
All of our items are carefully packaged in shipping paper and twine, a gift ready to open, because I know we all love gifts even if we already know what they are.

(Freshness matters…}
Most orders are custom blended at the time it is ordered, freshness is very important to me.
