My inspiration comes from the opulence of kings, queens and royalty, the whimsy and fantasy of fairies as well as from earlier Romantic eras. Due to my Father's work, as a child, I lived in many parts of Europe such as Italy, France and Spain. These countries rich in art were my greatest teaching and inspiration.

I’ve been sewing for many years and I remember during my childhood how much I loved to design and sew clothes as well as make jewelry for my dolls. Many moons later, I still love it. All of my designs are fully hand sewn, exquisitely finished and hand detailed by me. I’m actually not very good with a sewing machine, so I’ve given up using it (I do have one, but it takes me longer to do anything with a machine than to sew by hand lol).

Each design and creation is unique and based on my current inspiration. I don’t use patterns or set guides, generally I start beading and embroidering a piece of vintage lace or textile not knowing how I will use it…Many times it’s put away until I can envision it incorporated into a full design to create an intended effect.
