LaCornejaNegra's Profile

About

I began as an apprentice to a variety of artisans and crafters, most especially leatherworkers, out at Renaissance Festivals over twenty years ago. My affinity for color and texture further developed when I stumbled into knitting to assuage my idle hands. Loving old, battered and rusty things, things with stories, mixed media and collage were the next logical steps in the journey.
"Corneja" is the Spanish word for crow. I too am a scavenger, using found art and collage technique to make one of a kind home accessories.
