About

Hi everyone visiting LaLa Luxury :o) I am a stay at home mom to a beautiful happy little girl who we sweetly refer to as LaLa. They say having a baby changes everything and they are so right! I have always dreamt up designs in my mind, from clothes to shoes to frames to furnishings, just about everything! I would then rush to the web to try and find what I had imagined and always seemed to be let down, the stuff didn't exist. So I would tweak my own stuff to turn it into what I wanted, never thinking that anyone else might be searching for the same. I found that I would get complimented on my things and think nothing of it although I won't lie is certainly made me proud and happy :o). I went as far as creating my own tablescape for my wedding and had a hand in every detail. I was always told that designing or doing something you loved was impossible and should be

I was always told that designing or doing something you loved was impossible and should be
left to the celebrities and millionaires. So, I went to school for business, for real estate and even for teaching and each time I finished, that particular part of the economic world would fall apart. I became restless and disappointed but I wasn't putting my life on
hold any longer, so my husband and I decided to have our daughter Avalina (LaLa). I wanted her to have the most beautiful things and yet I found I was experiencing the same shopping disappointment with finding what I wanted. As a new mom I wanted her to be proud of her mama. So when Steve Jobs passed away, I kept hearing his Stanford commencement speech which spoke of following your dreams and doing what you love so I decided to finally take that leap. I wanted more than anything to show my little girl that following your dreams was not impossible or silly. I began by first showing my FB friends what I was making and they gave me nothing but positive feedback and support. So, here I am! :o) I'm starting small but hoping to add glitz, glamour and fabulousity to anyone who might want something colorful and sparkly in their lives, it always makes my eyes smile. I have been shopping on etsy for a few years now and I am so proud to become one of the many crafty people who make up this wonderful site!
