Since 1998 I have been learning, playing and creating lampwork glass beads. I have been making some sort of jewelry as long as I can remember.

Glass is so incredibly beautiful and fascinating to me. When hot, it flows like molten lava but it becomes stiff again in a matter of seconds. Keeping the perfect heat balance is key. It’s like a dance. Not enough heat and the glass can crack, too much heat and it moves -- then carefully applied details are smeared or melted. Once it has cooled, the way the light strikes it, shines through it, and illuminates it intrigue me.


Working glass is a mesmerizing and meditative process that demands I stay completely in the moment. This process continues to teach me and it brings great joy and contentment.

I love living in beautiful Bend, Oregon with my husband and our two wonderful boys. We like to have fun outside, floating the Deschutes River, hiking and biking in the summer and snowboarding as much as possible in the winter and spring.
