My fascination with beading began when I was young. I especially liked sorting through all the various colors and shapes of different beads composing the jewelry in my mother’s jewelry box. From this exploration, I delved into making jewelry myself, first using low fire clay for beads (which I personally made), and then incorporated purchased beads. My preference expanded to glass beads because of its greater variety, wide range of patterns, and the fact that I did not have to make them myself, instead devoting more time to designing my own wire clasps and necklace styles.
