Hi there!
Thanks so much for checking out my work & etsy shop. Everything produced in my shop is handcrafted, designed and packaged up by me. I am a one woman business.

My studio is located just outside the little city of Ithaca, New York. Surrounded by beautiful trees, myriad plants, rocks, lakes and waterfalls. All this seeps into my work and lends itself to simple, nature inspired pieces. The materials themselves and the process of making also happily inform & inspire my designs.

Some of my favorite metalworking techniques include hand piercing, this involves a jewelers saw and a tiny blade thinner then a sewing needle. I saw out hand drawn designs & shapes from metal sheets. Hammering and forging on my anvil help to add texture, new shapes & forms to my jewelry. Other techniques I use include soldering, riveting, forming and hand stamping.

What else do I do? I love to paint, draw, garden, cook, sew, read, go out to see music & friends and oh so many other fun distractions. Mostly these days though I am playing with metal. I earned a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Metal at SUNY New Paltz a few years back which helped get me started making jewelry & metalwork and I haven't really stopped!

Hope you enjoy my shop, thanks for your interest!
