Hello! Just a little background about myself & my crafts: I spent a lot of my childhood helping out my grandpa in his art gallery that he owned downtown. Both him, my aunt, and my dad are all artists of some type, mainly doing art that would be considered abstracts. My "ceramic business" started when a good friend of mine was moving in next door to me and I was trying to figure out what to get her as a cute house warming gift. I knew she smoked so I figured I would make an ash tray and personalize it with her and her boyfriends name on it and their new address on it as well. My projects originally began there as ashtrays, using sand inside the pots. I realized that obviously not everyone smokes and therefore would have no use for the sand being in the pots. From there I decided on a few different sizes of pots and went and bought some paint colors and ribbons and since then have enjoyed creating them so much I figured I would hopefully…
