Lenita and Marta's Profile

About

So who are we? A mother & daughter collaboration. At the beginning it was just me, Lenita. After a while my daughter Marta, one of my four children, joined me, and now we are more than happy spending long hours side by side in our lovely home studio.

It is the best feeling being supported by my family and doing what I truly love. With help from my three daughters we make it all happen (my other two daughters sometimes help me as well). When I am making a new product in the studio, they are already waiting in the other room to take a picture of it!

Maybe one day you will receive something from us, and love it as much as we loved creating it!

And a little bit about me, Lenita...

At the age of five my dear aunt taught me how to knit – that was my first experience of handcrafting. Over the time I have learned different skills: knitting, crocheting, weaving, embroidering, sewing, and so on. The closest for me is sewing; I have learned it in a professional level. In recent years, I have been working in an entirely different, unrelated area, but I have always felt the need to sew and make something pretty and wonderful. My daughters are the ones who "test", rate, and advertise my crafts.

I turned to handcrafting and sewing as a business about three years ago, it started with the so popular at the time in Latvia – brooch embroidering. Then it all came down to sewing flower brooches, ruffled silk scarves, harem pants and also infinity scarves. At the moment the most popular item in our shop is lace boot cuffs.

Customize yourself in a fantastic way – by purchasing different crafts and combining them!

Love,
LeLeni
