About

I am fortunate to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, near the sunny (sometimes) city of Seattle. I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that it rains a lot here. It's true; we get our fair share of rain. But that doesn't bother me. When it's raining outside, I'm inside with my dogs, a cozy fire, my knitting needles, a jar of buttons and a basket of yarn.

Check out my ssnake sscarves. Each is unique and each is guaranteed to make you smile.

My second chance teddy bears are probably my favorite items. I buy unloved bears and knit clothes for them before putting them up for adoption. Funny how these little guys and girls take on a personality while I work with them. They will definitely make you smile.

I've started making greeting cards from vintage images. I only use images which are in the public domain. I design the cards, write the inside verse, and have them printed professionally. My Scotty Christmas cards were very well received so I will be adding more, including other breeds of dogs and cats.

I have recently added some vintage/retro items to my shop. I went treasure hunting with my daughter one day to find items for her shop. It took me about thirty seconds to get hooked. I find I'm drawn mostly to vintage critters--owls, cats, dogs, butterflies; flowers are good too. Whatever brings a smile.

That's my goal--to find and create items which will make people happy whatever the weather. So Bring on the Rain!

My home is totally smoke free. There are no cats here but I have two amazing, awesome, wonderful dogs.
