About

Thank you for visiting Liberty Images! I'm Jen, the photographer behind the art and classic car/retro obsession. Do take a look at my limited edition photography: www.etsy.com/shop/libertyimages I'm in the process of re-opening my shop; thanks for being patient as I move things back over!

As a child, I always loved playing with cameras, shooting pictures of family, friends, pets, farm animals, buildings — anything. After leaving my love behind during high school and my early college years, that enjoyment was reawakened with the purchase of a Canon Powershot A80. That little point-and-shoot, with its wonderful flexibility, nipped me with the photo-bug again, and Liberty Images began to germinate.

A few equipment upgrades later, my photography is inspired by my search for and desire to share goodness, truth, and beauty. This (usually) results in…

This (usually) results in a sort of realistic optimism featuring classic cars, architecture, nature, and vintage Americana.

When not working on my photography, any number of things can occupy my attention, from cooking and baking, to hand-embroidery and sewing while taking in an old movie or a lecture, to reading a good book, taking a long walk, or tending to plants in the garden. I've also long ago learned that the lure of thrift shops, flea markets, and yard sales is very often worth succumbing to.

All of my photography is available for your viewing at http://flickr.com/photos/zachsdame.

Note: I usually do not use my computer on Sundays. If you email a question or order on a Saturday evening or Sunday, please be patient; I’ll answer you first thing Monday.

~ George MacDonald, Phantastes

"God is glorified not only by His glory’s being seen, but by its being rejoiced in. When those that see it delight in it, God is more glorified than if they only see it. His glory is then received by the whole soul, both by the understanding and by the heart."

~ Jonathan Edwards
