Lillian Bolster's Profile

About

I am Lillian Bolster and I love to make art. Whether it is a four foot sculpture that still sits on my parents porch or a small cup that sits just above my spice cabinet or a pair of knitted fingerless gloves that I can only wear in the dead of an Atlanta winter. I make them all and they are all art to me.

After graduating from UNC Asheville I moved from the mountains to Atlanta. I make my ceramic creations at the Cabbagetown Clay and Glassworks, an artist co-op between Grant Park and Cabbagetown (two intown nieghborhoods). I bind my books in my office at home and I love being able to work in my slippers.

As a day job I am the baker at Stone Soup Kitchen, two doors down from my ceramics studio.
