My name is Lisa and I am the seamstress behind Ding & Kennie. I am the wife of a wonderful husband who is addicted to fishing, Mom to 4 kids and Gramma to 3 beautiful children. In case you were wondering how I came up with the name Ding & Kennie it came from my 2 granddaughters, Emma (Ding) & Kenley (Kennie).
What started out as a hobby has turned in to a full fledged business. I saw a need for handcrafted items that would not only be functional but something you wouldn't find in a major retail outlet. I wanted things with more of a boutique/custom made feel to them. I am a fabricoholic so I'm always on the hunt for something different.
I believe that customer service and communication are the keys to any successful business. That is my #1 priority and I strive for perfection. That's why I always will let my buyers know how quickly I will send out their products and if I am having any issues finding exactly what they need.
