Originally a Sydney girl, I've lived most of my life between Paris, New York and Los Angeles. As a model, I was mentored by some of the 20th Century's most iconic photographers. Peter Lindberg's earthy black and white, Horst P. Horst's precision of composition and Helmut Newton's sensuality...these were the kinds of photographic achievements that inspired me to move to the other side of the camera.

My photography has appeared in magazines such as Gourmet, Bon Apetit, Real Simple, Glamour, Time Out New York and The New York Times. Books include "Real Simple Food" (Clarkson Potter) and "The Swedish Table" (Minnesota Press).

My inspiration comes from things I see around me in my everyday life. I'm constantly amazed by the beauty to be found in flowers- perhaps beyond their prime. Or an antique dressmaker's mannequin, a little faded, a little frayed, but at her most beautiful and majestic in her imperfection.

You'll find lots of flower photographs in my store, in rich, saturated colour and in black and white. Often times photos resemble watercolour paintings and are almost abstract. There are crazy jewels and projected shadows which also have a painterly feel.

I've been a photographer for over fifteen years and used to do all of my own printing in a dark room. Even though I shoot digitally now, I like to keep the look and quality of paper prints as true to traditional processes as possible.
