About

Welcome to Little Bean Prints!

Hi! I am Marie Clare Antonelli and I live in the lovely Northeast with my family. The grown ups, Ron and I, like to think that we are in charge, but really the kiddos, Eve and Owen, pretty much call the shots. My background is in painting and printmaking, drawing and illustration, and art education to boot.

I believe that it is so important to have art around us. I want my daughter to live in a world where the things she looked at, puts on, and plays with are engaging and inspiring. I paint with her in mind, both making pieces for her, and making pieces for adults that reflect the world I want her to live in. I strive to create artwork to will make us smile. Some pieces are child-like, some are sophisticated. All attempt to show a reverence for nature, and a loving and lighthearted view. I am inspired by so many things: the…

Some pieces are child-like, some are sophisticated. All attempt to show a reverence for nature, and a loving and lighthearted view. I am inspired by so many things: the birds and the trees, insects with their lacy wings, the way the moon moves, the way leaves curl, the things my children says, and memories.

My paintings were published in a wonderful book:

Assorted Product Info

Archival Materials
My prints are made on the best paper out there (and yes, I have pretty much tired all of them) - Hahnemuhle. I used Epson pigment inks and according to all source material and very friendly paper and ink company folks I have spoken with, they have shown to be archival for 200+ years. So these prints for your living room or nursery will still look great in you great-great-great-great-grandchild's home (and longer!).

For Gifting
I am frequently asked to send prints directly to a recipient of a gift. That is so fun! I love the thought that my work is showing up in someones mailbox as a surprise. When gifting I am happy to include a note to your recipient and will take extra care to make your package pretty using whatever supplies I have around (twine, jute, yarn, fabric). Sweet and simple.

Wholesale
My work is available in a few select brick-and-mortar establishments. If you are interested in carrying my work please email me for more info.

Yay!
If you have any questions at all of any kind please feel free to contact me!
