About

Thanks for stopping by my shop, now let me tell you a little bit about myself…

I have always been a very creative and artistic person. My arts career began in the 2nd grade when I won the weekly drawing contest. By the end of grade school I had the most blue ribbons in my class. The “under the sea” drawing really put me over the top. Moved on to the big high school and continued to excel in the arts so much that I decided to go to college for fine arts and design. Then at twenty-something the harsh reality hit me that I had to find a job where I could actually afford Ramen noodles. So I got a bachelor’s degree in communications and a bachelor’s degree in nursing. However my love for the arts and crafts was ingrained in my make-up and now I finally have time to play. I love all kinds of medium. I am one of those people who just cannot figure out which art and craft I like best,…

I am one of those people who just cannot figure out which art and craft I like best, so I try to do them all. Hmmm sounds like my college career…..

Right now I am stuck on fabric and sewing. I love fabrics of all kinds and find them very inspiring. I also like to try to recycle and reuse vintage or “toss away” items whenever I can. This is why I say that each item I create is unique and may not be recreated exactly. I can only make so many cards and purses out of one pair of pants.

I am a perfectionist and I hold myself to a high standard. You will see this reflected in my work. Now, everything isn’t perfect, it is handmade!! But nonetheless I take great pride in my art and crafting.

HANDBAGS:
Each handbag is made of layers of fabrics and stablizers. Spot clean bags only using soap and water unless otherwise specified.

FABRIC GREETING CARDS:
Most of the greeting cards have bows, buttons or bobbles on them. In this case they require extra care when shipping. I just use padded envelopes and I have never had an issue. The postage is a little bit more, but when you see the smile on the recipient's face it will be worth every penny.
