About

About me:

I started toying with art, around the age of six. From an early age, I showed a strong desire to draw, and paint, anything and everything. Including the walls! I continued to create art throughout high school and college. However, I wasn’t very focused on any specific style or medium of art. I drew and painted what I felt, saw, and thought. However, it turned out, I felt as though I was simply expressing myself in the form of a simple hobby.

It wasn’t until I combined my love for Halloween/Horror that I truly found something I wanted to pursue artistically. I have always had a fondness of the Halloween season, and the Horror genre.

Halloween, for me, was a time for each of us to be the “What Ifs?” and the “Surreal”; the peak of imagination and inventiveness. Horror films fuel that imagination year round, and provide us with more than just entertainment. They provide us with art in the form of question, thought and imagination. “What would it look like if?” “What would you do if?”

What I do:

You might say that my art has become the “What If”?

I believe in exploring the imagination for those things that scare us, the things that we conjure up in our own minds. More than likely things that someone has never thought of, as our imaginations are our own, and are fueled by our environment, thoughts, and beliefs.

I try to use my imagination to produce pieces of art that make people wonder what I was thinking.

To be able to question art, is to leave it open for interpretation. I just hope to create art that is weird enough, creepy enough, and strange enough to do just that.

What I use:

I am very fond of using a combination of Acrylic Paints/ Paint Pens/Spray paint, Airbrush, Line drawing, sketches.

The surfaces I prefer vary. I utilize canvas, wood, plastics, and clay. Essentially, anything that can accept the type of art I am doing at that time (Skateboards, Snowboards, Surfboards, shoes, clothing etc.)

I also dabble in sculptures (clay, mache)

I have also become interested in “craft” material as well, such as scraps, recyclables etc. Essentially, any type of material I can find a use for, I use.
