Liz Ann Falcone's Profile

About

I think my aesthetic has been influenced by the Victorian era and the 1920's to the 1940's with the emphasis of the time on laces, beads, sequins, furs, satins, veils, tulle, ribbons, feathers and brooches. The Victorian era was so romantic with the heavy use of flowers and the meanings associated with each flower, ribbons, satins and velvets. The 1920's offered beaded dresses and headbands with feathers. The 1930's had the satin wedding dresses cut on the bias and huge bridal bouquets. The 1940's had the fitted suits with shoulder pads, hats with veils and feathers and the heavy use of brooches.

I try to incorporate the things that I love into my designs. I want them to be lush and full with vibrant colors. I consider myself a floral artist and hope you like my designs as much as I enjoy creating them for you. I would be honored if you choose me to do your wedding flowers as well, assuring you that…

AWARDS:
I have been honored to receive WeddingWire.com Bride's Choice Awards for 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

My biedermeier bouquet has been featured online with "About.com" flower guide as the best example of a biedermeier bouquet that author, Jamie Mcintosh, has seen on Flickr.

I was very excited to be featured with a 2 page article in Fleurdorange Magazine in the Ukraine, a beautiful magazine about weddings in the Ukraine. This edition was featuring American florists offering unique bouquets and ideas. I had to have the editor translate the article for me because it was in the Russian language. My bouquet photos were presented in full color and looked beautiful. The magazine also featured the most gorgeous wedding gowns. It was great fun.

I also was featured in Florida Today social pages for my corsages and my business with preserved flowers.

I pride myself on excellence and quality of my designs, giving attention to even the smallest details. I feel that my designs illustrate my passion for lush floral combinations and my love of color.

I strive to be the consummate professional and client satisfaction is my goal. You can be assured that you will be treated in an ethical and responsible manner. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
