About

Welcome to our shop! We (Rose and and Ruth) are excited about this new opportunity to share our enthusiasm for quality fabric and yarns crafted into well-constructed products for wear serving customers from babyhood to adulthood. As twins, we are additionally enthused about living near one another for the first time in 20 years since Rose relocated to our hometown area six months ago. Rose's eight-year old daughter, for whom this shop has been named, has inherited this fondness for sewing and a discerning eye for picking out quality fabric and yarn. She's quite dismissive of the large-chain retail store fabrics but loves to wander through the local quilt shops and yarns shops. Some of our favorite designers are Lila Tueller, AnnaMaria Horner, Amy Butler, Heather Bailey, and Robert Kauffman. My daughter Lizzy happens to have Down Syndrome. As she gets older, it becomes increasingly difficult to find clothes that fit her body appropriately. Our intention is to create beautiful, well-made clothes that look nice and stylish rather than just making do with store-bought, ill-fitting apparel.
