Wanting to give my daughter-in-Law and friend Loc Jewelry for Christmas is how I got started. Making them became an addiction. I’m somewhat of a perfectionist, so it took a while before I was satisfied with the quality of my Loc Jewelry.
I got so much enjoyment out of designing it and seeing the finished product. One day I looked up and I had made so many different handmade designs of Hair Ties, Hair Lasso, Loc Jewelry, and Sister Loc Jewelry.
Family and friends were in awe at my designs. They couldn’t believe I make them from scratch. They insisted I sell them. I was a little hesitant at first because I got so much joy out of designing and making the Loc Accessories. I thought the pressure of selling would make it feel more like a job instead of a joy.
Well – after seeing the look on the faces of people I sold to at event, made me feel even more joy. Joy that I was supplying something unique and beautiful that made other proud of adoring their hair.
