As the daughter of a Marine, I spent my childhood moving quite a bit, but my *LOVE* of Art landed me in Boston at the Massachusetts College of Art where I majored in Illustration and Photography. Over the past 25 years I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and over a dozen foreign countries capturing the diverse traditions of arts and images through my photos, sketches, and journals to use as inspiration in my own designs. I consider my work a celebration of the Eclectic, Colorful, and Passionate World we all live in, and a Joyful Salutation to the Artist in all of us.

*♥*A Note on My Environmental Footprint!*♥*
I am committed to making art that is both beautiful and durable, designed for many years of joy, contemplation and smiles. To this end, I make environmentally friendly choices whenever possible, and produce my paintings and collage work with generations of sustainability in mind.
I'm fascinated by things that already have a "history", and I love making something new with them, whether it be piles of old handmade paper scraps to cover my recycled wood blocks/canvases, using old drawings in a collage piece, or salvaging "materials" from my husband's construction sites. "There is no need for waste, everything has it's place" my Grandma used to say, years before any environmental movement ever existed, and I have taken those words to heart as my own personal mantra!
I'm also a "Green" Shipper, please see my Shipping Policies for more information.
I believe that together, by buying Handmade and making conscious choices about our impact on this planet, we can all make a difference!! ♥ :)

♡♥♡☮I am an honored to co-lead an Exceptional Team that's all about giving back here in Etsyland, please read more about us:
♡♥♡♥♡Etsy Project Embrace♡♥♡♥♡
Etsy Project Embrace (EPE) is a Universal Coalition of Artists whose main purpose is to create awareness and support for people who have been diagnosed and are suffering with Cancer, whatever kind it may be. Together as a Team we are unified in reaching out to others by creating Treasuries, posting in our personal blogs and shop announcements, sharing personal stories, comfort and knowledge to those in need...this is the core of what EPE stands for! We have an EPE fundraiser page on the American Cancer Society (ACS) website and Team Members are encouraged, but not required, to list items in their shops with the etsyprojectembrace tag in order to donate the profits, or percentage of profits, for cancer research. As the future unfolds for EPE we have every confidence our horizons will grow more expansive to include other cancer related donation alternatives. Together, with caring, hope, compassion and love we can create awareness and make a difference! If you have any questions about our Team, would like to join us in an official capacity, or just find out more about how you can help, please do not hesitate to contact me!!

We have an Article written about us in the Etsy Online BLOG!!! Please take a moment to read all about this wondrous Team:
