A middle school English teacher by trade, an obsessed stitcher in my free time, I cherish every opportunity to express my creativity! I grew up in a family of seamstresses, and I value the smiles a handmade gift can bring. From the age of 8 when my grandmother and mom helped me create a miniature nine-patch quilt to my present day interests in applique and embroidery, I am most content when I'm at my sewing machine (who is affectionately known as Lizzy). I still sew on my maternal grandmother's dining room table, the place where she pieced many a quilt. I answer emails on a refurbished library desk, used by my paternal grandmother and rescued from the Clinton, TN library. Every item I create is made with love, and inspired by the generation of stitchers who came before me.
