About

I grew up in a stained glass shop. Vacations were spent in conjunction with installing windows in churches that my dad designed and made in his studio, first in Chicago, then in Hayward WI. We traveled all over the United States and I became accustomed to being in a church, sitting in the sun drenched stained glass windows that my dad had just installed.

I did not know that this was going to become a lifestyle for the adult me. My soon to be husband was commandeered to work as soon as I had brought him home to meet my parents and continues to work with my dad. (so do I) My grown sons help out when we need them too. (My dad's dad and his brother also did/are in art glass. That's four generations, of which I am third) You could say glass is in my blood.

I recently had a desire to learn how to fuse glass, something new for us. With support from the "Fam" I dove into creating fused glass art using dichroic and art glass. Small treasures that you can experience on a more intimate level, something you can hold.

My mom has been my biggest cheerleader and model for my pieces. She wears them everywhere.(I do too but she seems to get out more than me).
