Jen was raised in California and went to college in Minnesota, but has moved around enough to say she’s from all over the place. She started making jewelry as a way to distract from ongoing fertility struggles but that hobby turned professional when she took a job playing with beads as the manager of an independent bead store in St. Paul, MN. Her bead shop colleagues generously shared their talents with Jen, and her design skills and business took off from there. Jen aspires to create jewelry that elevates a person’s mood, style, and spirits. She presently lives in the greater Portland area with her daughter, husband, and two tiny rescue dogs.
