A Mixed Media artist I have been making things since age 4. My artistic areas cover painting, collage, sewing, knitting and combinations of these. Having been a successful machine knitwear tutor and designer with patterns published in Machine Knitting News and also teaching at Adult Education classes, now I concentrate on making one off unique items.

My style of artwork varies according to my artistic muse and the current crop of vintage finds. Recycling and re-purposing are my main areas of interest and I always use the original item not a copy. Visiting local auctions, sales and boot fairs I am always looking for vintage items and found objects that I can use in my art. Boxes of materials pile up in the garage, shed or bedrooms and are often lurking under the kitchen table. You get the idea, yes I am a collector of interesting things.

I am very lucky to live in a peaceful rural area near the Suffolk/Essex border in the UK.
