Lisa Bunker's Profile

About

My parents were both serious crafters during the 60s and 70s. Dad had a chemistry background and spent years trying to recreate Egyptian blue faience for beads. He also cast glass beads. Mom formed and strung the beads with hammered silver or brass accents. She also did weavings, embroidery, and wonderful fabric body ornaments. Both were active in Arizona Designer Craftsmen and the Tucson Craft Guild. I have fond memories of helping mom out at craft fairs around Arizona.
