The farm is located in a very rural area of northeast Washington state. We keep a small flock of 12 Shetland sheep, 3 huacaya alpacas, 2 guardian llamas, and our newest addition.....3 suri alpacas. I do all the shearing and process some of the fiber from the flock. The rest is sent to a fiber mill to be done. I love spinning and knitting. Socks are one of my favorite things to knit.....along with hats, vests, lace, and anything else that catches my eye. I also love playing with the fiber....experimenting with different dye techniques.....colors....and fiber blends.
My blog, ASheepsYarn (http://asheepsyarn.blogspot.com ), is where I write all about my fibery projects, experiments, and "ooops!". I love sharing as many pictures as possible pertaining to my latest projects. I can also be found on ravelry (asheepsyarn). My fiber interests aren't limited to just what comes off of a needle or a spinning…
