About

For most of my early childhood I lived in Pasadena, Maryland which is a little redneck area that was calm and relaxed, with the exception of the annual neighborhood halloween fight that always seemed to break out. Or that time some guy went crazy and tried to shoot someone. But other than that it was a cozy place where you could where your pajamas to the grocery store and no one would look at you twice, very different from where I now reside: Annapolis (cue angel voices). It's a much less personal place but it's just as special to me. I can't really go out in pajamas anymore without feeling a little strange, though.
While Annapolis does have it's ridiculously rich stuck up jerks side, it's also a place known for its diversity and especially artistry, so it's a wonderful place to live when you have an artistic calling.

Almost everyone I know in the Annapolis area is connected to art in some way, and i guess that in itself is what lead to me becoming as artistically inclined as I am!
All the products I create sort of bloom from my very nerdy obsession with all things paper.
Journals, cards, books, notepads, anything that has anything to do with paper, I love!
So naturally, when I learned how to make journals, I was hooked immediately. Then I soon realized I couldn't possibly need near as many journals as I was making, so I started looking for ways to sell them. A couple months ago I started selling them at Vivo! a boutique in beautiful and inspirational downtown annapolis that sells items made by local artists! Then I realized that people would very often tell me they wanted to buy one of my journals, but were WAY too lazy to actually go to where they were being sold. So I realized I would need to start selling online, and that's where Etsy came in!
Since I've been making journals for awhile now, my horizons have naturally expanded to other paper prducts! I love making speciality paper of all kinds, whether it be dyed or tea stained or made from unlikely sources, I just can't get enough of it. I would absolutly love to start making wholesale specialty paper for events and such, if that's something you or someone you know would be interested in please let me know!
I love constantly creating new venues to express myself and am always looking for new ideas, so if you have any, don't hesitate to make yourself heard!
