As a child I created beaded necklaces, bracelets and chokers and soon had my own look. As a teen and through college, I found myself scouring antique and secondhand shops for unique jewelry pieces to compliment my all black attire.
I was introduced to glass as an alternative material for mosaic. I decided to learn how to fuse glass and soon found myself abandoning mosaic for glass. I love the colors and the alchemy of glass. Glass allows for both experimentation and happy mistakes.
Each piece is created by using multiple layers of glass, fired and then more glass applied before firing again. No two pieces are alike. The colors reflect and shimmer in both daylight and night.
