I am a treeclimber. I am the grandaughter of a rodeo star.
I received my early photographic education from the veterans of the Carmel Valley scene, the children of F-64. I began shooting in the mythic stomping-grounds of my predecessors. Art school was a delight. I discovered the texture of light and shadow, of silver and grain, color and shape. The side of a rusty dumpster, a broken-down barn, skin...it all became an enthralling addiction.
A 15 year addiction from which I never hope to recover.
I return these blessings.
I believe in magic.
