Hello! My name is Sharon K. Shubert. Welcome to Gray Wolf Gallery! I'm a Christian artist working from my home studio in Texas. God has blessed me with many creative talents and I'm so happy to share some of them with you here in my Etsy shop.

I feel that a visible part of my soul transpires through each of my artworks. ART has been my number one passion since childhood. I knew from the age of 7 that I was an artist and writer. I can recall announcing it, but don't know where the information came from because I had never been exposed to anyone working in either profession. The talents came naturally though and I embraced them wholeheartedly.

I don't have just one specific style. I have ideas that I put into bold, colorful compositions. I make art out of pure insight, passion and drive. My…

My style has no format or genre to follow. I do not like to be labeled as only one kind of artist. I just make the art that I see in my mind's eye and what I feel needs to be expressed.

I work with multiple media, including both traditional and digital resources. These include Digital Art, Watercolor & Ink Painting, Woodburning (aka Pyrography), Photomontage, Acrylic Painting, Mixed Media, Assemblage, Sculpture, Decoupage, Paper Arts, and Collage.

My work is eclectic; a body of work encompassing many creative ideas inspired by the Southwest and totem animals, my life in Texas, nearby Lake Texoma and Hagerman Wildlife Refuge. I'm also inspired by a lifetime of singing performances and make music themed artworks.

LARGER PRINTS on Picture Rag Paper or on CANVAS are available through custom order. Contact me via Etsy convo for questions or quotes.

I have been writing all of my life and am a published author of short stories, prose, poetry, and Haiku, and have also had some of my artworks published.

Other favorite pastimes are cooking, baking, writing my own recipes, reading, playing word and math games, Majong, and Sudoku. I also enjoy spending time at the nearby lake and wildlife park, photography, picnicking and fishing, listening to music, growing plants, and collecting vintage home decor.

Just a friendly reminder: I retain the copyright to all of my artwork. Buyers do not have the right to use my artwork for commercial use or any other purpose beyond their own home decor. I do not give permission for my artworks to be copied, altered, enhanced or changed in any way. Purchasing a print or other artwork from me does not mean you are purchasing the copyright. All designs and compositions are owned by me.
