Maria Pace's Profile

About

When I was nine years old, my public school art teacher was Mrs. Emerson - a tall, elegant lady with bright blue eyes and a sharp talent for watercolor painting. Because of Mrs. Emerson, I’ve been painting for over twenty years, which has brought me a lot of happiness through thick and thin. It was during two months in Italy in 2009, inspired by the plants I found while taking long walks each day on the dusty road that ran by the villa where I was staying, that I began a series of botanical paintings I hoped to convert into designs for fabric patterns. In my etsy shop you will find items made from natural fabrics printed with my original watercolor paintings and designs.
