I've been a multi-media artist, just for the love of it, ever since childhood, and I never let it go. Whenever it was suggested that I use my talents to go into business, I would try not to sound melodramatic when I attempted to explain how personal it all was for me and that I never wanted to "corrupt" my art with money, for fear of it becoming about mass production and having no soul.
After many years of divergent career paths... much to the happy "told-you-so" faces of my friends and family who had insisted all the time that I was "missing my calling"... I finally conceded and became a Self-Employed Artist & Design Consultant.
